Employment plan

The employment plan specifies how we work together to support your employment, the tasks and goals that promote your employment and the services you need.

The plan can contain, for example, the following:

• What kind of jobs you are looking for and what your current job search situation is like.
• Your job search obligation, i.e., how many jobs you should apply for per month.
• Your job seeking skills; do you need support to improve your job seeking skills?
• Your expertise (work experience, training, qualifications, etc.) and whether you need to develop your skills.
• Whether you currently have any health challenges or other constraints and barriers that affect your job search.
• Whether you are interested in entrepreneurship or have a business idea.
• Whether you are interested in studying.
• How do you plan to achieve your employment goals.
• What kind of employment promotion services could help you in your situation.
• How and within what timeframe we will monitor the implementation of your plan.

You can make the employment plan in many ways, together with your specialist, either in person at the office, remotely or by phone. You can also make your plan independently via the E-Services.  In the latter case, your own specialist will review and approve the content of the plan or suggest possible changes.

As a jobseeker, you are obliged to participate in the preparation of the plan and to follow the agreed actions. Your job search can be interrupted if you do not accept the proposed employment plan, make your own plan proposal, or complete the tasks agreed in the plan by the deadline. This means that your unemployment benefit may also be interrupted.
