Itäkeskus
You can visit the Itäkeskus office of the Helsinki Employment Services without an appointment. Our experts are available throughout opening hours. There are computers and printers that you can use to search for work and training, as well as to use the E-Services.
Arrival instructions
Please see the service map below for our exact location. You can also find a link to HSL's Journey Planner on the map.
- Our office is located on the 4th floor.
If you do not have an appointment booked in advance, take a queue number and wait for your turn in the waiting area. If possible, arrive in the morning to avoid the afternoon traffic. The peak hours are typically between 11:00–15:00.
Most days, we have a security guard at our door to instruct our clients. If you are unsure what to do, you can ask the security guard for advice.
You can leave your mail in the mailbox in the staircase on the 4th floor. The staircase is accessible on weekdays from 6:00–20:00 and on Saturdays from 7:30–16:00.
Arriving at a scheduled appointment
If you have a scheduled appointment, you do not have to take a queue number or register separately. Our specialist will pick you up from the waiting area for the scheduled appointment.
Kela’s remote service
At the Itäkeskus office, you can also use Kela’s remote services. Kela’s remote services are only available to those who are already clients of the office.
You do not need to book an appointment for Kela’s remote services. The remote service is available Monday–Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In the remote service, you can take care of the same matters as at a Kela service point. You will also receive advice and support for Kela’s online services. Bring an ID and any necessary information or documents required for the services.
Ask your own employee for help. They will direct you to a service point and make sure that the connection works. If you so wish, our employee can stay and attend the meeting with you. If you need an interpreter, your own employee will help you order one.
