TE2024 reform
The duties of employment authorities will be transferred to municipalities on 1 January 2025. The transfer of employment services to municipalities will bring the services closer to clients. Municipalities will be well-equipped to provide clients with targeted services aligned with the needs of local labour markets once employment services, municipal education services and business services are provided by the same party. The objective of the reform is to help jobseekers find work more quickly and to provide employers with the talent that they need.
